Douglas is one of six Arizona towns selected to host Spark! as part of the Museum on Main Street program, which brings high-quality Smithsonian exhibitions to rural communities across the country.
The exhibition shares stories, photos, and videos from over 30 communities that found creative ways to improve life where they live. Visitors will explore four areas of innovation—social, artistic, technological, and cultural—and see how small towns turned their unique history, people, and resources into lasting change. Interactive displays and personal stories bring these inspiring places to life.
